My name is Mia and I’m happy you’re here. I’m a registered social worker (RSW), as well as a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP) with a career focus on counselling and therapy. My focus revolves around providing services with a client centered and culturally competent approach to those struggling with mood disorders, psychiatric diagnoses, complex trauma, grief and loss, as well as BIPOC and newcomers to Canada. My counselling orientation is using dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and Narrative Therapy, while engaging in trauma informed practices, client centred and strengths approaches.
During counselling, I hope to support you to become the best version of yourself by meeting your therapeutic needs as much as possible.
Noah Mursal is a local scholar who grew up and lives in the Lower Mainland. He memorized the Quran early and continued his Islamic Studies in the noble city of Al-Madinah graduating with a B.A in Islamic Law from the Islamic University of Madinah. He also holds a Masters Degree in Business Law from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. Noah Mursal is dedicated to reviving the Muslim mindset on spirituality, morality, education and relationships.
